Learn a language by dubbing movie scenes
Reading a line at the right time, with the right intonation: that’s exactly what speaking practice is about. Jeu de Doublage turns it into a game, in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Arabic.
What dubbing trains
Dubbing makes you speak at a native speaker’s pace, without hiding behind your notes.
- Fluency: the rhythm band sets the tempo.
- Pronunciation and intonation: you imitate a character and their emotions.
- Comprehension: you need to understand the scene to play it right.
- Confidence: everyone dubs at once, nobody stands alone in front of the group.
In class or online lessons
Create a private game in the target language (the game’s language is the language of the lines), then give the code to your students. Realistic mode works on the original text; fun mode adds humour that relaxes the class. The replay then lets you correct together.
Improve alone or with friends
Solo mode lets you practise a scene as many times as you need, and the sync score measures progress. With friends, start a game in a language nobody speaks perfectly: the replay becomes a lesson… and a good laugh.
